Biography
Sarah Hall is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at Tulane University, with an expected graduation date of May 2025. Her major is in Public Administration, with an emphasis in Non-Profit and Philanthropic Organizations. Relevant coursework includes Technology and Civic Sector Leadership, Data Informed Leadership, Social Equity and Financial Management, Sustainable Development in Non-Profit Organizations, and Equity Diversity Inclusion and Public Service. She holds a Master of Science in Psychology from Purdue Global University, which she completed in April 2016. Her studies emphasized Research and Statistics, including coursework in Ethics and Standards of Professional Psychology, Qualitative Analysis, Testing Measurement and Assessment, and Advanced Research Methods. Additionally, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Weber State University in April 2014, with a minor in Nutrition.
Sarah holds several certifications relevant to her field: she is SRAI Certified in Pre-Award Management, has completed Department of Defense Financial Management Training, holds NCURA Level 1 Fundamentals of Sponsored Projects Administration, and has a CDC Grants Management Certification. In her role as Pre-Award Grant Manager at the Tulane National Primate Research Center, which she has held since November 2023, Sarah manages a team of specialists, oversees proposal submissions, and ensures compliance with sponsor guidelines. From March 2021 to November 2023, she served as Grants and Contracts Officer at Tulane University, where she provided guidance on proposal development, coordinated submissions, and negotiated project agreements. Since January 2021, Sarah has also been a Grant Manager for SJ Community Collaborations, overseeing funding management from the Bureau of Justice for judicial and law enforcement agencies. She has been a Peer Reviewer for the Department of Justice since January 2020, evaluating grant proposals and providing feedback to the Bureau of Justice Assistance. Sarah possesses proven management experience, demonstrating her ability to lead teams, improve workflows, and achieve business objectives. She has exceptional communication skills, enabling her to convey information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
