The Tulane University Leadership Institute (TULI) currently offers three professional development programs: Anti-Racism Leadership Program, Emerging Leaders Program, and the Manager Development Program. Learn more about our programs below to see how you might get involved!

 

Emerging Leaders Program (ELP)

A cohort of 30 faculty and staff to include representation from all schools, centers, and shared services departments.

  • Program participants can apply or be nominated by their supervisor or by another leader
  • Selection process will include a review of nominee's performance and diversity focus
  • Participants will receive coaching support
  • The selection process is competitive, and not all applicants will be accepted

Anti-Racism Leadership Program (ARLP)

A cohort of 30 faculty and staff to include representation from all schools, centers, and shared services departments.

  • Program participants are welcomed to apply with support of supervisor
  • Designed around The Racial Healing Handbook and other anti-racism readings
  • Selection process will include attention to future leadership
  • Participants will receive anti-racism coaching support for addressing anti-racism leadership in their organizational unit
  • The selection process is competitive, and not all applicants will be accepted

Manager Development Program (MDP)

Partnering with the TULI, the Tulane Learning & Organizational Development team offers the Manager Development Program (MDP) to build and strengthen the management and leadership skills of Tulane's dedicated managers. Offering ongoing learning through five different modules, the MDP is an excellent learning and development opportunity for those employees looking to build their skills in a way that fits with their busy schedule.
