Tara Desko (she/her)

Tara Desko, a Jersey Shore native, has been working at Tulane for 14 years in progressively more responsible roles across three different departments in the School of Medicine. She started as an Accountant I and is currently serving as the Executive Director for the Department of Orthopedics. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University, and Master of Business Administration from Tulane. Tara is excited for the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with colleagues across the wider University. She loves to cook but enjoys dining out just as much! Other hobbies include traveling, musical theater, live music, reading and hanging out with her two rescue pups, Fern (8) and Parmesan (2).
