Justin Lamb (he/him)

Justin is the Senior Program Manager of Sophomore Engagement with Newcomb-Tulane College's Office of Academic Enrichment (OAE). He hopes to gain insights, build community, and improve the sophomore programs he leads through his participation in the Anti-Racist Leadership Program. Prior to joining the OAE team in 2022, Justin spent eight years at Bard Early College New Orleans, a satellite campus of Bard College for New Orleans students, where he served as Dean of Students as well as a creative writing workshop instructor and the Poetry Club Advisor. Justin received his B.S. in Communication at Boston University and his M.F.A. in Creative Writing at the University of New Orleans. He is a National Poetry Slam Champion with Team Slam New Orleans, the author of two poetry chapbooks and three live albums, and a co-founder of the New Orleans Youth Open Mic. During his free time, Justin enjoys reading, writing and discovering new music.
