Elizabeth Tierney (she/her)

Elizabeth Doyle Tierney is the Senior Department Administrator for the Social, Behavioral, & Population Sciences Department housed in the School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine. She supports faculty, staff, and students in this administrative role. Elizabeth is a staff representative on the Tulane Staff Advisory Council and vice-chair of the SPHTM Staff Council. Elizabeth received a Presidential Staff Excellence award in 2020, a Tulane 34 award in 2022, and the Graduate Student Mentor Award for her service with Women + in Science and Engineering for three consecutive years. She received her MLA from Tulane University and BFA from Savannah College of Art & Design. Elizabeth is a mediocre (but enthusiastic) sewist, devoted Mardi Gras participant, and lifelong food lover.
