Biography

Working with Annie: Annie is a certified executive leadership and resiliency coach and intercultural educator who helps clients and teams embrace opportunities and challenges of the global age through intentional facilitation. She specializes in helping clients achieve emotional resiliency, adaptability, innovative project management, and in developing their individual and/or group skills to navigate difference and/or language barriers. She supports clients as they hone their perspectives and unleash their inner potential. Trust, mutual understanding, creativity, and joy are essential elements of this coaching
relationship.

      Development Inventory (IDI) Qualified Administrator’s Group at Tulane.
  • International Experience: Annie has lived and worked for extended periods in Brazil, Cuba, Costa
    Rica, Mexico, Argentina, Dominican Republic, Senegal, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, and
    Greece and has travelled to over 40 countries.

  • Education: Interdisciplinary PhD in Latin American Studies with a concentration on Cuban and
    Brazilian immigration from Tulane University and a B.A in Spanish and Portuguese languages
    with a minor in Latino Studies from Dartmouth College.

About Annie: Annie loves exploring the world through travel, dance, music, hiking, canoeing, and other active forms of reflection. She dances and plays music regularly with Brazilian and Cuban cultural groups at home in New Orleans. She is interested in body language, non-verbal cues, and how language contributes to invisibility and confirms or liberates us from privilege. She was a Division I athlete in college and continues to play soccer in an adult league.
