Alma Bartolome (she/her)

Alma is a highly knowledgeable professional in hazardous waste management. She is HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) certified and carries out hazardous waste operations and emergency response activities, including responding to emergencies involving hazardous substance releases. She manages the hazardous waste programs at all of Tulane's campuses and holds several certifications from the Federal Government. Her work is crucial in enhancing the safety culture and compliance issues. 

Alma serves the servants; thus, servant leadership is her approach as a leader. Human dignity is consistent as the world changes, and there is so much to learn as we keep individuals as our top priority. Our staff is our biggest asset. Alma is proficient in four languages and loves baseball.
