Alicia Dugas (she/her)

As Operations Manager of the School of Liberal Arts Interdisciplinary Programs, I handle daily tasks serving the faculty, students, and staff of the Newcomb Art Department of Tulane University. As the office manager, it’s my job to coordinate all this happy chaos. 

Currently in my sixteenth year with Tulane University and starting my third year in my current role.  I manage 4 administrators that serve the 20 interdisciplinary programs in the School of Liberal Arts. I have a coaching leadership style that focuses on recognizing and nurturing the strengths of each team member and working with them to improve their collective outcomes.  Additionally, I am the admin of the two most extensive programs, the Strategy, Leadership, and Analytics Minor program, and the Digital Media Practices Coordinate major program. I am skilled in all Tulane business software, timekeeping, event planning, and all things in Microsoft Office. I am an organized, results-driven professional with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from the University of New Orleans.
